A perfume-making experience with a travel twist
What does a destination smell like? A citrus morning, a garden, a spice market or a familiar city street? This New York City creative social pairs scent blending with easy conversation, in a welcoming atmosphere for both men and women.
How the fragrance experience works
- Pick a travel-inspired direction from destination postcards.
- Sample prepared fragrance notes and choose up to three fragrance blends.
- Create your blend at the scent bar.
- The Hamsa Nomads team handles the perfumer's alcohol, dilution and filling of the finished spray bottle.
- Take home a personalized perfume or cologne after the experience.
Schedule and venue
Proposed venue: Patis Bakery, Upper West Side, NYC. The exact location and hosting arrangement await confirmation. The time and venue printed on the concept artwork are provisional.
The working schedule is around noon on Sunday, October 18, with no more than two hours for the experience. The final arrival/start time and café details are still being finalized. We will confirm the final details with people who request places.
Who is it for?
Jewish young adults looking for a hands-on Sunday social in NYC. Come with a friend or on your own. Both perfume and cologne preferences are welcome.

Do I need to know how to make perfume?
No previous experience is necessary. We guide the scent selections and handle the final dilution and bottling.
